Problem

User behavior analysis through Microsoft Clarity, internal analytics, and community feedback revealed friction at the final stage of the experience. Although users were successfully generating animations, many failed to complete the download process.

Low CTA Visibility

The download action was not prominent enough and was often overlooked after generation. Session recordings showed that many users hesitated around the download area before abandoning the flow.

Unclear Flow Guidance

Users were uncertain about what to do after generating an animation. Heatmaps and community feedback indicated that users frequently searched around the interface instead of proceeding to the next step.

Fragmented Export Experience

Over time, different approaches to downloading were explored. Initially, Generate and Download shared the same action. Later, automatic downloads were introduced, but removing user control created confusion and reduced confidence in the process.

Result & Outcome

The redesign reduced friction and improved task completion across the export experience.

+20% Download Completion

More users successfully completed the final step and downloaded their assets.

Reduced User Confusion

The transition from generation to export became more intuitive and easier to understand.

Increased User Confidence

Separating Download from Generate and introducing Inventory gave users more control over their assets.

Scalable Export System

The new export and inventory architecture established a stronger foundation for future asset management and download experiences.
